Foody Friday - Breakfast Berry Smoothie

Hi. Hey. Hello.
I've been having this smoothie pretty much everyday this year, so I thought I'd share the super, super simple and healthy ingredients with you :)

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 2.5 Tablespoons Rolled Oats
- 2 Tablespoons Greek Yogurt
- 1.5 Cups Milk
- Stab Mixer/Blender/Nutibullet

Basically, but place all of the ingredients into your blender/Nutibullet/tall container and blend together. Simple. You can change out the yogurt and milk for coconut milk or something healthier, and can also swap out the berries for something else, like 1 large banana.

I hope you liked my smoothie recipe and give it a try, as well as my gif of all the ingredients :) Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

Reviewsday Tuesday - Table Of Plenty Snack

Hi. Hey. Hello.
During the week, I saw these "Table of Plenty" mini rice-cakes on the shelf at the supermarket the other day, and thought I'd give them a try :) I chose the berry flavour, because I love berries, but there is a dark chocolate flavour as well which I do plan on getting at some stage. I found the first few bites a bit strange with the rice-cakes and yoghurt blend, but once I got used to it, I very much enjoyed it. I ended up eating the whole packet because they were so good haha Definitely go give them a try if you want an easy, healthy snack that tastes amazing :)

Hope you enjoyed my little review, not sure if it makes any sense as it is early in the morning when I'm writing this, but oh well, and look into buying some of these :) Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

Foody Friday - Banana Chia Pudding

Hi. Hey. Hello.
I have been meaning to make these for agesss, but I finally did it - Chia Pudding!! This is only a short recipe, but hope you enjoy :)

Ingredients
- 8 Table Spoons Chia Seeds
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk
- 2 Large or 3 Normal Sized Bananas
- 5 Small Glasses or Cups to Hold the Pudding

Makes: 5

Firstly, take your bananas and mash them up in a bowl using a fork, then add your coconut milk and chia seeds and mix all together.

Now, just pour it all into your cups, and you're done! I finished mine off with a little bit of coconut milk, chia seeds and a slice of banana before I put them into the fridge to set. I left mine in over night, but they only need an hour if you want them straight away.

You can also add honey to make it a little bit sweeter in a healthy way if you wanted, and you can make this recipe with a different flavour, I might do these but with a berry flavour. I'll report back of course haha I hope you liked this recipe and give it a try, as you saw, it was super simple! Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

Reviewsday Tuesday - Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Hi. Hey. Hello.
As you saw in my What I Got For Christmas post, I got the book "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn, as well as her other two books "Sharp Objects" and "Dark Places". I started reading "Gone Girl" on the first night of the year, and read a few chapters every night, so it took me just over 2 weeks to finish, and I really enjoyed it. I want to read more this year, so hopefully I will keep up with reading every night. Here is a little review on the book, hope you enjoy :) Also, This post will have spoilers, so if you haven't read the book or seen the movie, or just don't want to know what happens, stop reading now, I promise I'll forgive you.
From the start, it was very easy for me to read, which is always nice. I liked how all the characters were introduced and how the book was written in the perspective of the two main characters, Nick and Amy Dunne. I think the story flowed very well when it was suppose to, and stop-start when it needed to be, like when it was flicking between Nick and Amy's perspectives. I love how Nicks character developed, so in the beginning, you only knew the basics about him, but as the story and investigation went on, you got to know more about him and all of his "guilty pleasures".
I also really liked how Amy's plan backfired on her, with all of her money being stolen by her "friends", then her being taken captive by Desi, being unable to shake him or escape from his house. As much as I liked Amy for all of her cunning plans and no detail left untouched, I didn't like what she set out to do, to frame Nick for her murder and send him to jail/death, but I guess the book is written in that way for a reason, to make you feel angry and spiteful towards Amy for her actions and it does it very well.
I didn't like the end though, it was very abrupt. I wanted to know what happened their child and if it was actually Nicks or not. I would definitely recommend this for anyone how likes a good, suspenseful book with lots of twists and turns.
9/10

I hoped you like my little review, and it made sense to you, and makes you want to read it :) Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

Reviewsday Tuesday - MaggsLondon Makeup Bag

Hi. Hey. Hello.
A few months ago, I came across a YouTube channel called "Hannah Maggs", which is run by Hannah Michalak, where she posts weekly Vlogs that follow her, her husband Stef, and their gorgeous son Gracie/SqueakyG AKA Grayson. She also runs a Blog and has a makeup bag shop called "MaggsLondon" where I got this lovely bag from. I thought because I liked it so much, I'd do a little review on it :)
Hannah hand-wraps all of her bags, which are hand-made by her seamstress, with beautiful brown paper and red and white twine on the outside, and tissue paper on the inside around the bag. The makeup bag I got is called "Reflections" and has the most beautiful floral pattern on it, which I fell in love with. The material is nice and soft, with a lovely quilting pattern done with the stitching. When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell of potpourri, and it seems to fit the bag very well, as I can imagine the flowers in the pattern smelling like this. The inside of the bag is also lined with a plastic lining, so the material wont get stained on the inside, and easy to clean, which is always a plus. I think I will get a lot of use out of this bag :)

Go check out Hannah's YouTube and Blog, even go and look at her makeup bag collection and buy one yourself :) I hope you enjoyed this review, thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

T-Haul-sday - Once Apon A Tee + Hipbones and Heartbreak

Hi. Hey. Hello.
I did a bit of nerdy shipping all the way back in November on "Once Upon A Tee", and it took a loooooooooong time for it to reach me, but it finally did. I did want it to arrive before Christmas, but oh well. I also ordered a sweater from the lovely Ange of "Hipbones and Heartbreak" that also arrived the same day, so double yay.

Once Upon A Tee
Firstly, I got a jumper with a Legend of Zelda inspired winter pattern on it, which I absolutely love and can't wait to wear in a few month when it gets cold enough. Secondly, I got a singlet with a Star Trek inspired Christmas winter pattern on it, which I sadly didn't get to wear the Christmas just gone, but fingers crossed the next one I remember haha The next two things I got for two of my friends. The black one is the Super Smash Bros. Symbol with all the items in the game to make up the symbol, than the other one is a Harry Potter inspired Christmas winter pattern. Finally, I got two mouse pads that I plan on hanging on my wall as decoration, rather than using with my computer mouse. They are both Legend of Zelda inspired winter patterns.

Hipbones and Heartbreak
I have been eyeing this pretty little thing off for a very long time, so when I saw there was a sale on, I knew what I needed to do. I am so glad and happy with this beautiful, adorable thing that I think in winter, I will only be wearing this, and the one above only when this is in the wash haha Ice-cream Kitty all the way!!

I hope you enjoyed my T-Haul-sday post, hopefully I will have more in the future. Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

What I Got For Christmas 2014

Hi. Hey. Hello
I know this is super late compared to the majority of these type of posts, but I'm gonna do it anyway! So here is what I got for Christmas 2014 :)

So firstly, I got a book called "How to tell if your Cat is plotting to Kill You" from my brother and his wife, which is very funny considering how much I love my cats. "Hyrule Historia" and "The Gillian Flynn Collection" I bought for myself, as I wanted them for such a long time, and I thought Christmas would be the best time to treat myself.

I got these owls and the candle lantern from some of my Mum's friends. The large owl you can actually put a little tea light inside, and make a pretty pattern from the cutouts it has. The little owl has an even smaller owl caved inside of it, and is the cutest!

I have recently been getting into fruit teas, so when I went to get a few presents for my friends, I got some tea for myself, for the amazing shop called T2, and this beautiful ring was from my Mum, and I love it very much.

This was possibly the most thoughtful gift I received from one of my bestest friends. She printed out some of our selfies together of our happy times, and gave them to me in this fancy frame. It might be very simple, but I love it almost as much as I love her.

Now, the biggest and best for last. My WiiU. I have wanted a WiiU for the longest time, and this year I finally got one. My boyfriend and I moved in together about 3 months ago, and had been using my 2003 LG block tv as our entertainment, but for Christmas, we splurged (with the help of out families) and got a new 50" Bravia, a PS4 for the bf, and this for me. And I bought WindwakerHD to play on it, as it is my FAVOURITE Legend of Zelda game out. To say I'm in love with this machine would be an understatement.

I absolutely loved Christmas 2014, spending time with my family, including my perfect little Niece, and having a break from hectic work, and was VERY spoilt with my gifts. Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!

Two Thousand and Fifteen

I have spent the first day on this new year being very lazy by not getting out of my pajamas, and playing Wind Waker HD/Mario Kart, so I thought I'd be kinda productive and write this post. So, for the first post of the year, I thought I'd do a "Things I want to do this year"/Resolutions list
  • Fitness and Health: 2014 I started on a healthier journey then I had in previous years, but I definitely fell off the wagon a few times, so this year I'm going to make more of an effort to stay on track and not beat myself up if I do slip up. Another goal is to be closer/be at my goal weight by the end of the year.
  • Blogging: I wasn't very good at this blog this last year, for a variety of reasons, but I'm going to make a solid effort to try and write a post at least once a week at the very least, hopefully more, and with variety of topics.
  • Travel: I have never been over-seas before, so this year I want to go somewhere different in the world, most likely either Canada/America or Europe around August/September/October.
  • Study/Work: I have just finished a 3 year Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour, so I know I want to take a break from study for a while, but I'm still not sure if I want to get a job in this field or study another degree in 2016 to help me with my passion of Paleontology, but I'll figure that out at some point. I have a casual job at the moment, which I'll probably stay with for the foreseeable future, but not should if I will still be there by the end of the year, I think a 4th Christmas working in a supermarket would push me over the edge...
  • Myself: 2014 was a good year to me, I turned 21, I finished my degree and I moved out with my boyfriend, but nothing is without struggles, and I had my share, especially with my anxiety. This year I hope to finally get that under control and not let it stop me from doing anything I want to do.
Now, I make resolutions every year, and I say this every year, but I truly think that I will be able to stick to these ones. I have been ready and already am doing some of these, lets just see if this time next year I can say I did everything on my list. Thanks for reading and visiting my little place on the internet, comment if you want, and see you next time!!
